Physical Therapist, MS Clinical Posturology
Federica was born in Piazza Armerina (Italy) in 1995.
From a young age, she developed a strong passion for movement and sport. Swimming, practiced for many years, represented her first contact with the world of physiotherapy, allowing her to understand the importance of prevention, recovery, and physical performance.
After completing her studies in Catania (Italy), she obtained her degree in 2019 and began her career in the field of neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation and personal health. From the very first years of clinical practice, she directed her professional development toward manual therapy, musculoskeletal pain management, and therapeutic exercise, considered central tools in the rehabilitation process.
Over the years, she has combined clinical practice with consistent personal involvement in sports. By traveling and engaging with different environments, she has practiced skiing and climbing - experiences that have contributed to broadening her understanding of the functional and biomechanical demands of human movement.
In 2022, she enriched her training in manual therapy, clinical reasoning, and the assessment of neuromusculoskeletal disorders, completing the Level 1 Maitland training course in Italy. In 2023, she obtained a university Master's degree in Clinical Posturology in Rome (Italy).
Throughout her professional journey, she has gained experience in injury prevention, neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation, and return-to-physical-activity programs, adopting an active and personalized approach that integrates manual therapy and specific exercise based on individual needs.
Federica joined the Sports Rehab team in January 2026.
